Lunch at Postman’s Park

Between the northem border of the former St. Botolph’s Aldersgate churchyard and Little Britain was a small, roughly triangular 300-square-yard of piece.

Opened on 30 July 1900 the so called “Wall of Heroes” it’s still there recalling to the people “the things which had been done by those who did their duty bravely, simply and straightforwardly in the place where God had placed them”.

This been said… bring your lunch-box and walk to the small park… here far from the urban jungle, your unbearable office, and your unceasing hair loss you will find the peace to enjoy your toast and read about Alice Ayres (but please don’t bleach your hair as Alice, alias Natalie Portman in Closer).
